January 26, 2008-Trivia Night Main Street Orion will hold its’ first Trivia Night at Orion Middle School Commons. Doors Open at 6:30 p.m. with games beginning at 7:p.m. Tables of eight (8) are going for $80. Mulligans can be bought for $1.00 each. Door Prizes and Raffles baskets have been donated by several businesses and individuals to be drawn by ticket during the event. Bring your own table snacks. Drinks, tortilla chips dribbled with cheese and candy bars from the concession stand will be available for sale. June 14 – Orion Community Garage Sale Day - 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In 2007, approximately 115 households participated in the Garage Sale Days averaging $457 in sales per household. Main Street Orion offered spaces in Central Park for the first time at a small fee for those living in rural areas to display and sell their items. Breakfast will be served by the Lion’s Club at Central Park followed by lunch also in Central Park as an option to the many who visit Orion to browse the sales. The Orion Community Band will entertain during jazz band intermissions, providing a solid three hour program for concert-goers.
